{"id":8958,"date":"2025-07-20T00:00:28","date_gmt":"2025-07-20T07:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apldevnew.wpenginepowered.com\/?p=8958"},"modified":"2025-07-28T01:50:46","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T08:50:46","slug":"customer-advisory-typhoon-wipha-in-vietnam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apllogistics.com\/2025\/07\/customer-advisory-typhoon-wipha-in-vietnam","title":{"rendered":"Customer Advisory: Typhoon Wipha In Vietnam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Update #1 : July 21, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>APL Logistics wishes to provide an update about Typhoon Wipha, which is expected to make landfall on Vietnam\u2019s northeastern coast today, <strong>Monday, July 21, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that operations at both of our CFS warehouses in Hai Phong\u2014Pan Hai An (PAN) and GLC\u2014 will be suspended at <strong>12:00 PM today, Monday, July 21, 2025 until further notice <\/strong>to prepare for the typhoon\u2019s impact, instead of at 5:00 PM as stated in our previous advisory.<\/p>\n<p>We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep you informed of any further developments that may impact our services.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your APL Logistics Account Manager or your local APL Logistics office.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><a class=\"button btn-with-arrow-right btn-white\" style=\"color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apllogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Customer-Advisory-Update-21Jul-Typhoon-Waphi-in-Vietnam.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here to download the advisory<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>July 20, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>APL Logistics wishes to inform you about Typhoon Wipha, which is expected to make landfall on Vietnam\u2019s northeastern coast on <strong>Monday, July 21, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In anticipation of Typhoon Wipha\u2019s impact, the Hai Phong Port Authority has sent out an official notice (Letter No. 1687\/CVHHHP-PCTT&amp;TKCN) regarding operations and vessel anchoring, instructing all container vessels operating in Hai Phong area to complete cargo handling no later than <strong>10:00 AM of July 21, 2025<\/strong>. As a result, ports may suspend receiving export containers after this time.<\/p>\n<p>So far, the following ports have sent out official announcements to suspend receiving export containers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HICT: from 06:00 AM July 21, 2025 until further notice.<\/li>\n<li>HATECO: from 06:00 AM July 21, 2025 until further notice.<\/li>\n<li>Nam Dinh Vu: from 12:00 PM July 21, 2025 until further notice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, both of our CFS warehouses in Hai Phong\u2014Pan Hai An (PAN) and GLC\u2014are expected to be affected by the typhoon. Accordingly, we will suspend operations at both warehouses at <strong>05:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025 <\/strong>to prepare for the typhoon\u2019s impact.
