CARGO CLAIMS<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Please use the APL Logistics Cargo Claims Portal to submit or check on the status of your cargo claim.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

APL Logistics (APLL) will promptly assist its customers with claims for loss or damage to a customer\u2019s goods while in transit or APL Logistics’ care and custody following the receipt of all required documents and proof. Only one incident should be submitted with each claim submission.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements for APL Logistics Claim Procedure:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. NOTIFICATION:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Cargo interest must immediately notify its own<\/u> insurance carrier and<\/u> APLL upon determining that cargo loss or damage has occurred. Please provide APLL with evidence of notice to your insurer and a Certificate of Insurance for your cargo insurance company.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

2. SUBMISSION:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Provide details of loss or damage within the time specified in your APLL contract, generally before or at the time of receipt of goods or, if the loss or damage was not previously apparent, upon discovery. Final claims must be filed in English (and local language if required) and received by APLL in accordance with the terms of your APLL service contract or applicable tariff. <\/i><\/span>Email all notices and documentation to APLL_Claims@apllogistics.com<\/strong><\/a><\/span>. Identify the Company\/Claimant name and date of loss in the subject line of the email. <\/span>Claims can be submitted through the APLL Claims Portal.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. CONCEALED DAMAGES<\/span><\/strong>: <\/strong><\/span>Notification must be received\u00a0immediately upon discovery,<\/u> but no later than 72 hours from the time of receipt of the unit to determine if APLL and the insurance carrier of the cargo interest require a survey. APLL always reserves the right to survey the cargo; this survey is strictly for APLL’s internal use only and will not be shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span> Prior to receiving APLL consideration of your claim, you must submit the following documentation. <\/span>Please provide as much documentation as possible in\u00a0<\/span>one<\/span><\/u> email.<\/span><\/p>\n
